Season 1 Content Drop

Pre-season for PowerPath is finally over, and Season 1 comes in blazingly fast. Here is all the content drops you can expect for the new season titled The Blood Moon Eclipse.

New features

We’re kicking things off with new features that will be added to the bot with Season 1.

Profile Titles

These are titles that you can earn through challenges, events, and more that you can equip to spice up your profile.

Items Selling

Starting in season 1, you can now sell inventory items that you don’t want or use for 50% of its original shop price.

After all, you can’t expect to sell used items at full price, right?

Season Pass

Season Passes are coming to PowerPath. You can use these to earn currency, titles, and more, with a Free and a Premium Track available. More details down below.

Challenges

Season 1 introduces weekly and seasonal challenges available on the bot. You can check these out by using the /challenges command.

Some challenges are tough, so good luck, soldier.

Events

We’ll also be adding events, to the bot, separate from the regular challenges.

Currency Conversion

Starting in season 1, players will be able to convert currencies, if they don’t use a certain type. Below are the conversion rates at the launch of the feature.

New Game Mode

The Catacombs

Starting in Season 1, we’re adding a brand-new game mode called The Catacombs.

The Mechanic

You descend into floors, with every few floors, being a boss floor. Each boss defeated increases your boss base win chance by 5%, but increases the penalty by 10%.

Players must decide whether to extract or descend.

Boss Floors

Every 5th floor, you face a Lich King. Defeating him grants you a Cursed Chest, which contains random amount of silver, and rarely random amount of Gold, with the amount increasing with each boss floor.

Mode stats

  • Base Win Chance (Regular Floors): 40%
  • Base Win Chance (Boss Floors): 20%
  • Penalty: 500 to 600 Bronze.

The Grimoire (Season Pass)

Now let’s talk about how the season pass is going to work.

There will be 50 levels in total to climb on the season pass, and, instead of a standard XP bar, players fill the Grimoire by collecting “Lost Pages,” initially found only by playing the new season’s mode, The Catacombs.

There will be a free, and a premium tier, where premium users get both the free and the preimum rewards. The premium tier will cost players 500 Gold.

Community Event: The Great Purge

Once a week, a server boss appears.

  • All players have to use /attack to chip away at a massive server-wide HP bar.
  • Server Admins have to set a bot commands channel for their servers for the event start announcement to be sent and for the server to be included in the event.
  • Rewards are distributed based on total damage dealt (Bronze for Participation, Gold for Top 3).

Season 1 Launch

The sky bleeds, and the Catacombs have finally groaned open. Your past victories mean nothing in the shadow of the Eclipse. Will you claim the Cursed Gold, or will your name be just another scratch on the dungeon walls?

The Blood Moon rises on April 3rd at 12AM UTC. Prepare your soul.
